| A dressed engine travels on a powered conveyor with an RF tag on the pallet holding the manifest Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The Genius Bus Controller reads the VIN when the pallet enters the stamping station. If a properly formatted VIN is found, a 4-axis, 3 vector movement is performed to position the pinstamp head to the proper orientation for stamping the VIN on the engine and transmission. | |||||||||||
